President and Executive Director Elisabeth Jensen established The Race For Education with the support of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Casner of WinStar Farm. A graduate of Aiglon College in Villars, Switzerland, and F.I.T. City University of New York, Mrs. Jensen has served in an executive management capacity for several Fortune 500 companies, including most recently The Walt Disney Company. Her home base is in Lexington, KY, with son, Will.
Carly Preston, Student Services Manager

Carly Preston, Student Services Manager, joined The Race For Education in February 2008. She received her undergraduate education from Georgetown College with a degree in Communication and Philosophy and a Master of Arts, Theatre degree from the University of Kentucky. In addition to teaching theatre courses at the University of Kentucky, Ms. Preston has varied non-profit experience from her work with Jockeys’ Guild, Inc, the Lexington History Museum, and The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky.
